Bay Media has supported Regent’s Roots Festival for the second consecutive year, donating £2,000 towards the free community arts and culture festival in Camden.

The fifth edition of Regent’s Roots took place on Saturday 1 August outside Old Diorama Arts Centre. The festival ran for five hours, with performances, workshops, stalls and free food across Regent’s Park Estate and Regent’s Place.

Much of the programme was drawn from the surrounding community. Young dancers from ODAC’s Remix Dance performed alongside groups including Regent’s Park Singers, Camden Youth Theatre and the Third Age Project Choir and Ukulele Group.

Away from the stage, resident associations, charities and local organisations ran stalls and activities. There was also a parade through the estate, while Camden Council’s mobile health bus offered free health checks throughout the afternoon.

Regent’s Roots was produced by Old Diorama Arts Centre, Fitzrovia Youth in Action and the Camden Detached Youth Team. This year’s festival formed part of Love Camden’s South Asian Heritage Month programme.

Bay Media’s £2,000 donation follows its £4,000 contribution to Regent’s Roots in 2025.

Bay Media has worked with Camden Council for more than 15 years and was pleased to support the festival for a second year. Regent’s Roots is free to attend, with a programme shaped by the residents, performers and organisations based in and around the estate.
