New advertising deal for Nottingham buses just the ticket

Nottingham’s award-winning bus fleet and Adverta have struck a major new five-year advertising income deal which helps safeguard services and fares.

The deal, announced as Nottingham City Transport (NCT) hosted the ALBUM conference in Nottingham, provides businesses with targeted and tailored advertising using the fleet of over 250 vehicles, which make up the company that has been voted Britain’s Best Bus Company a record six times.

The deal means that profits generated from advertising are ploughed back into the services to keep fares as low as possible. 

Adverta is part of the Halifax-based CP Media group and is headed up by Mike Terry, who is Nottingham born and bred with first-hand knowledge of the city and where businesses can reach the right people.

Mike said: “We are humbled that Nottingham City Transport has put their trust and faith in us to once again deliver for them.

“It might sound clichéd, but I take great pride in working and selling ads in my own city. I’ve seen the two-way benefit for both NCT and for our businesses. Getting to the right people, in the right way, at the right time is what we are about.”
