Bay Media is proud to support Wigmore Primary School’s ambitious 28-mile fundraising walk. Held on Saturday, 13th June, the "Wembley to Wigmore" challenge saw dedicated staff, parents and school governors trek from Wembley Stadium back to the school to raise vital funds.
The event was organised to help the school reach its £12,000 fundraising target, which will be used to transform the current playground into a more engaging and inspiring outdoor environment for its 600-plus pupils. Beyond the impressive fundraising effort, the 28-mile walk stood as a testament to the power of community, teamwork and resilience, bringing together local families, supporters and businesses.
Bay Media was delighted to support the walkers with a donation to a cause that holds special signifi cance for the company. Adding a personal connection to the event, two valued members of Bay Media’s installation team, Dan and Vasile (known as TT), took part in the challenge.
Both Dan and TT have children who attend the school. Having been integral to the Bay Media team since 2007 and 2009 respectively, the pair work behind the scenes to install, maintain and remove campaigns, ensuring seamless operations for clients.
Reflecting on the event, Dan commented: "From day one, once the idea came about, my wife and I were more than happy to help by participating and donating to this cause. When we moved to the area over eight years ago, we arrived with our little one and quickly discovered just how supportive this community is. Because of this, I’ve always felt that I should give something back. I feel that same level of support in my work at Bay Media; I’ve met incredible people and always found the encouragement I needed. It’s something I’m truly grateful for."
TT added: "We really appreciate Bay Media's involvement in our children's future wellbeing. Happy children make for happy parents."
Bay Media congratulates everyone involved in making this fundraising initiative a resounding success and remains highly committed to supporting the local causes that mean so much to its team members and the wider community.
