KBH has unveiled Canvas, a brand-new premium large-format advertising proposition across Cineworld locations nationwide. The network introduces a sophisticated collection of bespoke digital screens in a variety of unique shapes and sizes, giving brands maximum impact and unprecedented creative flexibility.
Featuring towering pillar wraps, striking overhead ceiling screens, curved panoramic displays and immersive digital staircases, Canvas enables advertisers to dominate the cinema environment and connect with audiences throughout their journey to the big screen.
Canvas is now live in 46 Cineworld venues across the UK, including the flagship Leicester Square cinema and the iconic O2 cinema in Greenwich. The launch complements the existing Cinema Digital 6-Sheet (D6) network, which is already live across 50 Cineworld locations.
The introduction of Canvas further strengthens KBH’s position in the UK cinema space. Through partnerships with Cineworld, Odeon, Vue, Picturehouse and a large portfolio of regional and independent operators, KBH now reaches 50% of all UK admissions across 207 cinemas nationwide – delivering the most extensive cinema OOH coverage in the market.
Ian Reynolds, Managing Director, KBH, commented: “Cinema has always been one of the most immersive environments, and Canvas takes that experience beyond the auditorium. We’re excited to offer brands this opportunity to align themselves with major cultural moments in such a bold and creative way.”
Lauren Windo, Head of Media & Distribution Partnerships, Cineworld Cinemas, added: “Cineworld is proud to partner with KBH on the launch of Canvas, unlocking new opportunities for brands to deliver high-impact, creatively flexible campaigns across the Cineworld estate. With audiences highly engaged and immersed in the cinema environment, these premium large-format advertising screens provide an unrivalled platform for meaningful brand connection at scale.”
The launch coincides with one of the strongest film slates in recent years, with Toy Story 5, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey among the blockbuster releases expected to attract millions of cinemagoers this summer.
