Bay Media’s £4,000 donation to Camden Council this week marks the latest step in the company’s ongoing commitment to Social Value. Building on its revenue share scheme, which redirects over £1 million to local authorities each year, this latest contribution will support the Regent’s Roots Festival, taking place this Saturday (2nd August, 2025) outside the Old Diorama Arts Centre.
Now in its third year, the festival is produced by Old Diorama Arts Centre and Fitzrovia Youth in Action, serving as a celebration of culture, community and creativity. Attendees can enjoy a rich programme of performances, workshops and community stalls, all shaped by local artists and youth groups. Highlights include circus-theatre from Joli Vyann, Ukrainian singing and choreography from Camden’s young creatives. In the spirit of inclusivity and community, catering from Masala King will be provided free of charge, a gesture made possible by Bay Media’s support.
This contribution reflects Bay Media’s broader strategy of reinvesting in the communities it serves and staying true to its mission of creating meaningful Social Value. Lizzie, Sales Director and cheque presenter, explains:
“At Bay Media, making a positive impact is at the core of what we do, so contributing to this initiative felt like a natural step. We've built a valuable partnership with Camden Council over the past 15 years and it was a pleasure to strengthen that relationship by supporting the festival.”
Initiatives like the Regent’s Roots Festival exemplify this commitment, celebrating diversity, amplifying local voices and making public spaces more accessible and welcoming to all. Through this latest donation, Bay Media reaffirms its dedication to Social Value and continues to help foster stronger, more connected communities. Daniel Pitt, Creative Director and Chief Executive of the Old Diorama Arts Centre, sums up the significance of this support, commenting:
“Thank you for investing in our work supporting community cohesion through culture in Euston – and for the biggest cheque we have ever held!"
